Onion rings

1/2 cup flour
1/2 t. Salt
1/2 t. Baking powder
1/2 c. Buttermilk
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 container canola oil (I fill my frying pan with about 3/4 bottle)


Mix flour, salt, baking powder.

Heat the oil over medium heat. Dip rings in flour, then buttermilk, then bread crumbs. Cook about 2 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
