Olive oil
Squash, diced
Diced carrots
Grated onion, garlic,turmeric
Cumin

Coriander
Chili powder
Salt and pepper
Can chicken broth
1 cup water
1can coconut milk
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook squash, carrots, onion, add spices, add garlic. Add broth. Cook until squash is soft. Blend. Add coconut milk.

Split red lentil salad
1 cup red lentil (can use brown as well but it will take 30-40 minutes to cook)
4 cups water
2 stalks celery
3 cloves garlic
4 baby carrots, diced
Red pepper, diced
1/2 English cucumber, seeded and diced
Salt, pepper
2-3 T. Olive oil
2 T. Vinegar (can use rice vinegar)
Optional (diced cilantro or italian parsley onions, green onions)
Over medium heat, cook the lentils for about 12 minutes. Let cool and add the rest.

3 cans vegetable or chicken broth
3-4 cloves Garlic, diced
Dash of Cinnamon and cloves, paprika
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 t. Cumin
1/2 bay leaf
1 1/2 c red lentils
1 tomato, diced or 2-3 T of tomato paste
1 Tablespoon butter (optional)
Juice of 1 lemon
Fry carrots, celery and onion for 4 minutes and then add garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add spices then add broth and lentils.Cook for 15 minutes. Add tomato or tomato paste, lemon and butter. Serve.

Baby back ribs
Dry rub -mustard, garlic, cumin, cayenne, paprika, cloves, cinnamon, brown sugar, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Apply the dry rub and let sit for 1 hour.
Grill 5-7 minutes per side then bake, covered in foil, for 1 1/2-2 hours or until you can pull apparent with a fork on 350. Turn over every 20-30 minutes. Dilute sauce with Apple cider and bake for the last 30 minutes. Also good with 1/2 cup bbc sauce, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and 8 pitted cherries.

Waffle Recipe
1/4 c sugar (also works with 2 Tablespoons)
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup canola oil
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
2 Cups flour
Preheat waffle maker.
In a bowl, beat eggs and sugar. Add vanilla, oil, some milk, baking powder and salt. Slowly add flour and the rest of the milk until blended. Should take about 3-4 minutes. Makes about 6 waffles.
